Homemade Tzatziki

Ingredients

500gr Greek type yogurt

5 cloves of garlic

Half a cucumber

Salt

Olive oil

Red vinegar

 

Procedure

Put the yogurt into a tapper, so that you have your tzatziki ready and you will not have to move it to a different bowl.

Smash the garlic with some salt and put it in the yogurt.

Trim the cucumber and squeeze all the juice out of it either with your hands or put it into a towel and tumble it through it.

Put the trimmed cucumber in the mixture, along with the olive oil. Time for the red vinegar, as it will make your tzatziki last longer.

Mix it really well and try if it needs some more salt.

You can keep it closed in the fridge for about 1 week. Normally you don’t have to because it gets eaten!
